In 1808, St. Magdalene of Canossa founded the Canossian Daughters of Charity as a religious congregation in Verona, Italy. Its members would come to be known as Canossians. Today, about 3,000 Sisters are serving God's people as Canossians. 1808年5月8日，聖嘉諾撒瑪大肋納在韋羅娜創立嘉諾撒仁愛女修會。她對主充滿熱誠，渴望把全世界的人都燃燒起來；她的宏願終於在1860年，由她的追隨者實現出來。聖嘉諾撒瑪大肋納於1941被教宗立為真福品，1988年被冊封為聖品。 |
